Overview of "The Future of TV" from PBS's Nightly Business Report

pbsnpr.jpg

4-part series from PBS's Nightly Business report, aired in February 2008. Broad overview of issues,
technologies, consumer behaviors, broadcaster and advertiser concerns in the video space. Focuses
on United States, but few concerns are nation-specific other than penetration of broadband and
technology in cell-phone networks. Conclusion is that there is no one future of TV or video, but rather
an ecosystem of set-top boxes, high-definition/high production value, mobile, and prosumer content.
