How is a sustainable house designed?
Our vision of sustainability focuses on the creative use of natural resources and energy and aims to identify new ways to improve the quality of interactions among people, architectural space and local environment.
At the Massachusetts Institute of Technology we are designing and building a full-scale prototype of a sustainable home with four design objectives: sustainable architecture, smart energy system, information and communication technologies, and social sustainably.
